What Is Included
Every visit covers all exterior windows, frames, sills, and doors using purified water that dries streak-free without chemicals. I clean UPVC, timber, and painted frames as part of every visit because clean glass in dirty frames does not look right. Ground-floor windows and doors get finished by hand where that gives a better result. If you have a conservatory, glass porch, or skylights, I can include those - just mention them when you call.
The Four Heatons - What I See on Every Street
The Heatons have some of the best Victorian and Edwardian housing in Stockport. The terraces and semis along Shaw Road, Heaton Moor Road, and Battersea Road often have original sash windows with detailed glazing bars and stained glass fanlights. These need proper attention - working into the corners of the glazing bars and cleaning around the leaded lights without damaging them. Many properties have a mix of original windows upstairs and replacement UPVC downstairs, so you need someone who handles both. The leafy streets that make the Heatons so attractive also mean pollen and tree sap on windows for half the year. Heaton Moor and Heaton Mersey are particularly green, with mature sycamores and limes that coat nearby glass from April onwards. Properties on the north side of streets pick up algae and green film that builds up between cleans. I clean most of my Heatons customers every six weeks, which keeps everything looking smart without letting the tree residue take hold.
